Ladies Fellowship
The Ladies Reformed Bible Study Fellowship meets every Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
The Reformed in the name alludes to the Reformed Creeds and Confessions to which Bethel URC subscribes; The Heidelberg Catechism, the Canons of Dordt and the Belgic Confession.
The Fellowship includes young Moms with pre-school children, women with all their children in school and several empty nesters, in other words a broad range of women of different ages and stages in life.
We usually study a Book of the Bible. In ‘06/07 we studied the Book of Romans and in ‘07/08 we studied 1 Corinthians. This year, 2008, we will be studying the Old Testament Book of Samuel.
The Bible Study often lends itself to an interesting discussion about church, faith and life.
While their mothers are discussing God’s word, the toddlers are at Story Hour. There they learn a Bible story, participate in singing and do a craft.
Their younger brothers and sisters are looked after in a supervised nursery.
