Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is one of the greatest opportunities we have to reach all people, especially children and preschoolers, during the summer months.
Public schools in the past used to actually allow prayer, hymns and stories from the Bible, meaning that every student, whether he attended church or not, had at least a passing knowledge of Christianity. Unfortunately though, that is not the case for our children today. There are people in our city who know next to nothing about God and His Word, and we need change that.
Vacation Bible School is important for children who come to hear the Word of God. This may be the only time that some children will hear it. Vacation Bible School is about sowing seeds. Often we don’t see if the seeds we have planted take root and grow, however that is not our responsibility.
God will, in His time and way, bring all those he has chosen to salvation. For some, the way begins at Vacation Bible School.
